多重思维流

多重思维流 (Multiple thought streams) 被定义为一种精神状态，即一个人在脑海中同时拥有不止一种内部叙事或意识流。这就可能导致同时出现任意数量的独立思维流，而每一个思维流通常都可以像日常思维流一样受到控制。

这些多重并发的思维流可以同时被体验，并且分布均匀，不会让人觉得某个思维流比其他的更重要。然而，它们也可以以一种让人感觉某个特定的思维流被推到前台，而其他的继续在后台处理信息的方式被体验到。这种形式的多重思维流通常会以看似随机的间隔在特定的思绪之间切换。

这种效应的体验有时允许人们同时分析许多不同的想法，并可能成为深刻见解的来源。然而，它通常会用过多的信息压倒那个人，使其难以或不可能以正常速度完全处理。
